Pink Tie Friends, Inc.
is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) corporation. We are an all volunteer
corporation made up of survivors of breast cancer. We are survivors
helping others survive.
Patients are referred to the
Pink Tie Friends
through the Breast Health Navigator
Program at Martin Memorial Cancer Center. The Breast Health Navigator
Program is funded by a grant from the Susan G. Komen Foundation and is
a valuable support system that guides patients through the resources available
for therapy, testing and treatments. When all other financial resources for an
uninsured/underinsured patient have been exhausted, the Breast Health
Navigator Program contacts the Pink Tie Friends for assistance.
Eligibility Criteria for receiving
services from Pink Tie Friends, Inc.
• You must have a breast cancer diagnosis.
•
Uninsured or underinsured
•
Meet financial guidelines for financial assistance
•
Resident of Martin or St. Lucie Counties
Services
Financial assistance (paid to providers) for breast cancer treatments for
women and men who are uninsured or underinsured and meet financial guidelines
for assistance. This financial assistance may be provided to assist with surgery, chemotherapy,
radiation treatments, tests and procedures related to treatment.
